Shopify expert in Egypt — stores built to convert, not just to look good
I'm Ahmed Ebrahem, a performance marketer and Shopify expert, and founder of SADUQ. We build Shopify stores and landing pages and run CRO for stores that spend on ads in Egypt and the Gulf. The difference: the people building the page see the numbers of the ads landing on it. One store where we removed the cart reached a 3.14% conversion rate with lost orders down 21.7%; a Gulf store went from 0.7% to 1.19% after a product-page rebuild.
Why Shopify became a core part of my work
For years I ran ads for stores and kept hitting the same wall: the ads work, the visitors come, and the store does not close the sale. At that point every extra pound of budget burns. So instead of telling the owner "fix the page" and waiting, at SADUQ we started building and fixing the store ourselves.
The ad and the store became one decision instead of two. When cost per order climbs, we know whether the problem is the ad or the page — because both are in front of us.
What I work on in Shopify
- A store from scratch: platform, theme, Arabic and RTL, payments (Paymob or Kashier plus cash on delivery) and shipping. Steps and costs in create an online store in Egypt.
- Landing pages for advertised products: one product, one offer, a direct order form — landing page design.
- CRO on a live store: an audit of the product page, offer and ordering steps, then the fixes built and measured — Shopify CRO.
- Rebuilds: if the store looks fine but does not sell, we rebuild the front end and the funnel without touching products, orders or customers.
- Sites beyond stores: WordPress sites for companies and services, and custom-coded sites — like this one. See web design at SADUQ.
Shopify expert or Shopify developer?
A developer builds what you ask for. That matters — but store owners usually do not know what to ask for. What makes the difference is someone asking, before building, whether the page answers the visitor's questions.
A visitor arriving from an ad has seven questions: did I land in the right place, will this solve my problem, is it worth the price, can I trust this store, what if it does not work out, is ordering easy — and the seventh is for the owner: are you even measuring this? Every unanswered question costs orders.
Numbers from stores we worked on
- A COD store in Egypt with the cart removed entirely — conversion reached 3.14% and lost orders fell 21.7%, on fewer visits.
- A Gulf store — conversion from 0.7% to 1.19% after rebuilding the product page, with a bundle instead of a discount code.
- A Kuwait store — a 1.97% conversion rate over seven months while spend fell 16%.
All three are documented with their period and source in the case studies. Still choosing a platform? See Shopify vs EasyOrders vs WooCommerce.
When I will not tell you to build a new store
If the store converts well and the real problem is a margin that cannot carry ad costs, a new store will not fix it — the answer is pricing or a higher average order value. And if the pixel is not recording correctly, every decision about the store is a guess, so that gets fixed first.
Frequently asked questions
How do I find a good Shopify expert in Egypt?
Ask for stores they worked on and the conversion rate before and after, not just design screenshots. Then ask how the page will convert. If the answer is only about colours and layout, that is a designer, not a conversion expert.
What is the difference between a Shopify expert and a Shopify developer?
A developer builds what you ask for. A conversion-focused Shopify expert asks first whether the page will answer the visitor's questions and sell. Both matter, but a store running ads needs the second.
Does Shopify work in Egypt?
Yes, in EGP. Shopify Payments is not available in Egypt, so online payments run through Paymob or Kashier (both have official Shopify apps), and cash on delivery is enabled in settings.
How much does a Shopify store cost?
There is the Shopify plan itself (Basic is $29/month billed yearly or $39 monthly), plus theme and apps. The build itself, through SADUQ, starts from EGP 10,000–15,000 depending on product count, languages and new store vs rebuild; branding and visual identity start from EGP 20,000.
Do you work on the store only, or the ads too?
Both, through SADUQ. You can take the store alone, but the strongest result comes when ads and store sit under one roof — so when the numbers drop we know where the problem is.
