Orders up 15x in Oman: Body Romantic
Body Romantic is a fragrance and body care store in the Sultanate of Oman, running on Shopify. From October 2025 to July 2026 it was making about 40 orders a month. After an Arabic rebuild of the store and bundle-based static ads on Meta, it made 618 orders in September 2026 (about 15x), with revenue at about 9x. Spend grew about 8x, and blended return (Shopify revenue ÷ Meta spend) rose from 1.92 to 3.06.
Body Romantic is a fragrance and body care store in the Sultanate of Oman, running on Shopify. This is the first case where we name the brand openly, with its permission.
The problem
From October 2025 to July 2026 the store was stuck at about 40 orders a month, and blended return on Meta spend in July was 1.92. Many product descriptions were in English, and the product pages weren't built to sell to an Omani customer who buys in Arabic.
What we did
- A full store rebuild on the Kalles theme with an Arabic RTL interface, and product descriptions translated into Arabic.
- A homepage built around boxes and gifts, since they bring in the most revenue, plus a free shipping bar from 10 rials and a "bought together" section on 81 product pages, using the logic of scent families.
- A standalone landing page for the best-selling box.
- New static ads on Meta built around the bundle ("three for 3 rials") instead of the single-item price, with each creative tested in its own ad set.
- Scaling in stages, and quickly cutting the audiences that didn't work (cold interests).
The result
In September 2026 the store made 618 orders, against an average of 40 a month before that, which is about 15x. Revenue was about 9x the average of the previous ten months. Meta spend grew about 8x, and even so blended return rose from 1.92 in July to 3.06 in September. Average items per order went from 2.5 to 3.95.
The lesson
The winning ad was "buy more and save" rather than "price per item", and 75% of the orders on the best day had 3 items or more. And when I raised the budget, audiences and creative all at once in a single night, cost per order more than doubled in a day. So I now scale one step at a time.
Evidence

Orders and revenue come from the Shopify dashboard in Muscat time, excluding cancelled and test orders. Spend comes from Meta Ads Manager. Blended return = Shopify revenue ÷ Meta spend (not the pixel number). The name is published with the brand's permission.
Frequently asked questions
How did return go up while spend grew 8x?
Because the work focused on order value rather than the price per item. The winning ad was 'buy more and save', so items per order rose from 2.5 to 3.95, which let each order carry a higher ad cost.
