Van Graph: EGP 7 million in two months by reviving burned-out creative with the Re-Hook
Van Graph, an Egyptian fashion brand, made EGP 7 million in two months with a 4.9% CTR, a CPA of EGP 38, and a daily peak of EGP 35 thousand. The winning creative had started to decline, and instead of producing from scratch we changed only the first second (the hook) and made multiple versions of the same video with different hooks, tracking CTR and CPA day by day.

Working creative burns out over time, but that doesn't mean you have to start from zero. This case is about reviving burned-out creative with the simplest possible change.
The result
- EGP 7 million in sales in two months
- A daily peak of EGP 35,000
- 4.9% CTR, with cost per acquisition (CPA) down to EGP 38

The problem
Any working creative reaches a point where it burns out: the audience has seen it too often and performance starts to drop. The lazy fix is starting from zero with a new production, which is expensive, slow and not guaranteed.
The strategy
Creative doesn't really burn out, it gets renewed. Instead of throwing away a successful video and starting over, we change only the first second (the hook) so it looks new to the people who have already seen it.
The execution
- Re-Hook: the same video with a different hook at the start, to win back the audience that already watched it.
- Multiple versions of the same creative with different hooks, instead of producing from scratch.
- Tracking CTR and CPA day by day to see which hook works.

The lesson
Before you throw away a successful creative and start over, try changing just the hook. It's cheaper and faster, and it might bring your performance back the way it brought back EGP 7 million in two months.
